DIGITAL REALISM SCHOOL POLICY AND CONDITIONS

Digital Realism and its related partners (collectively, “Digital Realism”) make this website (this “Site”) and the Digital Realism School Site (the “School”) available subject to the terms and conditions contained herein, including, but not limited to, the Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, Copyright, Trademarks, Environmental Policy (collectively, these “Terms”). By using this Site, or any of Digital Realism channels, you agree with the terms and conditions of this Policy.

Access To Digital Realism’s or Third-Party Software and Technologies

Digital Realism allows and grant students a free non-commercial educational licenses to use Digital Realism’s or Third-Party Software and Technologies to work, test, and develop their skills during their enrollment in the School, as long as the following conditions are met:

1 | The use does not disparage Digital Realism or third parties.
2 | The software or technology is not changed or manipulated in any way.
3 | The usage of the software or technology is only for non-commercial and educational purposes and for Digital Realism School classes projects and homework or to create a student showreel. Any other use either commercially or outside Digital Realism School projects or showreels it is totally prohibited in any way and will lead to strict legal proceedings, financial penalties, and termination.
4 | The usage of the software or technology is only licensed to the students who have approved registration on Digital Realism School and cannot be transferred in any way to any other students, parties, individuals, companies, teams, or used in any other possible way either for non-commercial or commercial projects.

Digital Realism School Screen Captures and Material Copyright

Digital Realism do not allow students to use screen captures either pictures or videos or sounds or recordings from any live classes without written license from Digital Realism.

In legal, more complete terms, Digital Realism School grants you (as a student) a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the content for which you have paid all required fees, solely for your personal, non-commercial, educational purposes through the School, in accordance with these Terms and any conditions or restrictions associated with the particular content or feature of our School. All other uses are expressly prohibited. You may not reproduce, redistribute, transmit, assign, sell, broadcast, rent, share, lend, modify, adapt, edit, create derivative works of, sub-license, or otherwise transfer or use any content unless we give you explicit permission to do so in a written agreement signed by a Digital Realism authorized representative.

In addition to the terms described above, all uses of Digital Realism copyrighted materials are subject to Digital Realism’s Terms of Digital Realism Copyrighted Materials.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Before Requesting a Refund:
1 | Talk to your Digital Realism Instructor.
2 | Talk to Digital Realism management team.
3 | Check our support, community, Facebook groups as you may find a solution to your issue there.
4 | Contact Digital Realism support team to find a solution for the issue you’re facing.
5 | Ensure that the training program or purchased courses are being used as intended function and purpose by checking the training program description or any course published materials or by reaching us.

We are sad to see you go, but if you’ve tried our training programs and decided it’s not for you, we’ll gladly refund you for your purchase. Please note your refund will be eligible under the following circumstances:

1 | If your refund request was submitted before attending any live classes or before attending the first three live classes.
2 | The training programs is completely non-functional. You’ve opened a support ticket using the authorized email (the email you have used to purchase your training programs) on our dedicated support channel but you didn’t get any response in 48 hours (business days only). And/or the training programs description stated on the training page was fully misleading. Please include details about the reason for your refund so that we can know what went wrong and how to improve our training programs. For any technical issues, we will request from you a link and/or a screenshot of the issue to be sent to our support team.
3 | For any emergency, or out of hand situations you can request refund only If your refund request was submitted before attending any live classes or before attending the first three live classes.
4 | If Digital Realism faced any emergency, or out of hand situations like but not limited to natural disasters, or technology breakdown, etc. And the situation was irreversible and cannot be fixed to complete the live classes, in this case Digital Realism will refund full amount or a fair amount based on number of live classes attended.

To cancel your registration for a course or training program, log in to your account in the School system. Once you have logged into your account, you can “Cancel” your course attendance. The School will review all cancellations and make any refunds according to the cancellation policies set forth below:

Online Live Classes Training Programs Cancellation Policy

Registered course participants who notify the School registration (through the registration system) less than 3 live classes after the course start date will be issued a full refund. No refund will be issued for cancellations after the first 3 live classes. Individuals who register for a course and do not attend without canceling in advance through the registration system are responsible for the full registration fee. Upon receipt of the registration fee, the registered course participant will receive course materials for the program.

Online On-Demand Recorded Training Programs Cancellation Policy

Registration for online On-Demand recorded training programs is final because registrants receive access immediately after a purchase is processed. So no refunds will be granted in any way.

Studios, Staff, One-To-One Training Programs Cancellation Policy

Registration for Studios, Staff, One-To-One online of offline training programs is subject to the Training Contract and the Refund Policy is based on the Contract.

Cancellation by the School

If a training program is canceled, due to the illness of presenters, severe weather, technical issues, or other emergency conditions, the School will attempt to reschedule the training. Registration fees will not be refunded when a course is rescheduled, except those registrants who cannot attend the course on the new date. The School will refund all registration fees if they do not reschedule the course. The School is not responsible for any other loss or damages incurred due to a cancellation, including travel or hotel costs or associated penalties. The School will notify registered course participants of a cancellation as soon as possible.

Termination

The refund policy applies to all terminations for any reason. If a student maintains unsatisfactory grades or academic progress, he or she may be dismissed from the program. The school may immediately terminate a student’s enrollment for noncompliance with Digital Realism Policies; Jordanian regulations; Improper conduct; Any negative/disrespectful comments; Behavior that is considered disruptive or any actions which could cause bodily harm to a client, a student, or employee of the school, injury to the school’s reputation; willful destruction of school property; theft/any illegal act. Students who exceed the maximum time frame shall be terminated from the program once maximum time frame of (3 Live Classes) has been reached.

Updating the Policy

Digital Realism may, but is not required to, update this policy from time to time. You are bound by any such updates and should therefore check to see whether this Policy has been modified (see “Last modified” date above) each time you use this Site or the School.
